Mountain surprise. A wonderful dish full of greens and fresh ingredients.
Less than 10 minutes preparation time.
Actual cooking time around 90 minutes.
You will need:
An integrated dose of urbanity (recommend an old bridge, a concrete tunnel and some infrastructure, preferably crumbled).
Several layers of history.
Wales’ only thermal spring.
One medium sized river.
One long cycle path.
One large geological lump, topped with Celtic burial mounds and a trig point.
Mosey along the trail (be sure to be courteous to fellow users).
Pass the thermal spring.
Dart up steps,
Cross river and pass through broody tunnel,
Nip along a zig-zag,
Join Mountain at Northern Eastern face.
Brief downhill (Avoiding rocks before wooden bridge).
Finish at Trig point.
Do it again.
And again (to taste)
Bounce down, tired and happy.
Pinhole camera essay; one of my routes over the Garth mountain.
