Billowing, blossoming, blooming, watching. Clouds chaperoned by wind gazing over commuters favourably.
As the season progresses from spring to summer, numbers of cyclists increase, the drone of engines, replaced by the tick of the freewheel and the abrupt click of gear changes.
Recently I’ve noticed a gentle modal shift as the evenings lengthen and the temperatures gradually climb. On a day like today, fresh and enlivened, overseen by brilliant white clouds, and buffeted by diffident breezes, I suspect a new crop of commuters are sold on the benefits and pleasures of two wheels over four. Welcome aboard.
