St David’s day cycling

Daffodil bike

Ahh….St David’s day. Pin a daffodil to your chest, then celebrate with a blast along the roads in the Elan valley or an MTB ride at one of our world class trail centres, then consume a giant plate of Welsh Cakes and a pint of Brains’ micro brewed wizardry. Us Welsh are a little less noisy about our patron saint than our friends across the Irish Sea, but it’s a special day nonetheless.

So here is a short celebration of Welshness through the medium of cycling (images mixture of media sources  and photographs previously displayed on the site).

Diwrnod yn hapus dewi sant!

(Happy St David’s day)
