I cycled through the Bay on Tuesday lunchtime. Unlike today the weather was clement; warm temperature, milky sky, little wind. Passing the Senedd I noticed a protest underway. Local groups were lobbying AMs against fracking, the process of extracting fuels from shale through high pressure blasting. The process is not without extreme environmental impacts. As I stopped for a few moments to gauge the mood of the crowd – amiable, articulate – an elderly gentlemen walked past. Disdain? Concern? Disinterest? I can’t quite read his expression.
Street photos taken on a bike and capturing a moment will be posted under the title ‘Streetview #’.
