Abandoned Part 17

Abandoned part 17 (1 of 1)

Oi!

I’m a bike.

B I K E.

Bike.

Not a ****ard balloon.

City Road, Cardiff. Is this an abandoned bike? A piece of street art? A bit of abuse? It’s wrong whatever it is. Seeing a tormented bike sends a little shudder down my spine.

If you come back to your bike to find it decimated by detritivores, please think about passing any unwanted bits to local social enterprises such as The Cardiff Cycle workshopThe Bristol Bike Project,  ReCycling (London) or The Bike Station (Glasgow). This is part of an ongoing series to highlight cycle security, abandoned and vandalised bikes.

  1. If it was dog in a hot car someone would have smashed the window and let it out. You mess with this and you’re sure to be the only person ever to get arrested for bike theft in the history of the city…Perhaps it’s designed to throw would be thieves off.
