There was a time before mobiles. A time of being incommunicado. Catching up with people on return. Forgetting the milk with no reminders. That time is long past. I spotted these commuters at Cathays station whilst connecting transport modes; train and folding bike.

  1. Simon that is so spot on. Totally encapsulates the times we live in. A very powerful shot. Do your journalism bit and send it off all over the place for publishing.

    • Thanks Loz – and I’m not convinced times have changed for the better. Personal space is reduced, compressed and we’re forgetting what to do with it.

  2. Great photo mate, if one of those people tried to engage with another, all they would get is ‘the nutters, trying to talk to me…’
