We’re back at Bespoked this weekend, providing the bike racks, hovering around with a face that says ‘happy to chat’ and hoping that the weather is kind. Of all the bike shows that we attend, this is the one that really floats my swingarm (in cycling parlance). Quality hand made bikes. Artisan frame builders. Niche cycling products. And above all else; really lovely people. Last year around 4000 people piled into the Temple Meads passenger shed/exhibition hall (one of I.K.Brunel’s constructions) and more are expected this year. Can’t wait. I should be kicking around the stall on Friday night and some of Saturday, then disappearing to help out at the Cardiff JIF kids club/save my legs for the Hell of the North Cotswolds on Sunday. If you really love your cycling, I can’t praise or recommend this event highly enough.
