St David’s day cycle art

Daffodil bike

Happy St David’s day. Being a Welshman, its only appropriate that some space is given to our patron saint. Famous for making ‘superfluous’ hills (hills can never be superfluous if you’re an off-road cyclist) and living an ascetic lifestyle (modern day Welsh often enjoy the former and always struggle with the latter), St David holds a special place in our heart. If you’d like to join the nation in celebration, pin a daffodil or leek to your top (yes. a root vegetable. With a safety pin. On your top), tuck into some welsh cakes, enjoy a pint of Dark and pop a Gruff Rhys CD in the machine*. Mwynhewch**.
