The heavens opened and the rain fell.
Yesterday evening, 60 mph winds and torrential rain swept across the Welsh capital. Streets were flooded. The city centre was gridlocked. Cycling was less than pleasurable. Today however, calm has been restored. There’s a brief hiatus in a weather system determined to dampen spirits. The sun is shining, mist rises from a swollen river Taff and Llandaff fields sheds the morning fog.
