Abandoned Part 26

Tangle of bikes-1876

We’re in this together. You and I.

I won’t leave you now.

Not now.

Not now that the council have labelled you for removal.

After you’ve been picked like carrion and your owner’s given up.

We’ll go together you and I.

The two of us.

Together.

Tangle of bikes 2-1873

Bike parking adjacent to Cardiff central station, surrounded by the crash barriers that mark the start of the 6 nations. These two bikes lie in a tangle and await their ultimate fate.

If you come back to your bike to find it decimated by detritivores, please think about passing any unwanted bits to local social enterprises such as The Cardiff Cycle workshopThe Bristol Bike Project,  ReCycling (London), Bicycle recycling (Gosport) or The Bike Station (Glasgow). This is part of an ongoing series to highlight cycle security, abandoned and vandalised bikes.
