Riding on the dock of the Bay
When this pops online, I will be winging my way to London on the train for the bike show. ‘Let the train take the strain’ and all that. As much as I love being on a train (and I really do love using trains, my inner child/geek still gets enthused by the rumble of rail travel), I’d much rather be cycling. Recently, whilst looking after 25 screaming kids at my daughter’s 5th birthday party, we missed an opportunity to tag along on the recent Harris Hogmanay, a social event organised by the industrious Cardiff Cycle Chic. A lovely rolling ramble from the City centre to the Bay with a musical interlude at the fantastic Norwegian church cafe (the Norwegian church in Cardiff bay is a cafe and arts centre – we were fortunate enough to have our wedding party there in 2005….with a rollocking blues band……..and hand picked Belgian beer……..aahhh….). Anyway… I love this image so much that Alistair of Cardiff Cycle Chic has kindly let me use it.
Keep your eyes peeled on the Cardiff Cycle Chic site for future events and social gatherings.
